Elisabeth Jackson Obituary

Elisabeth Ann Barab Jackson (Liz) passed peacefully, surrounded by family, in the early afternoon on 28 July.  Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Marvin Stanton Jackson, she is survived by her daughter Jane Prigal and family (husband Larry and children Erin Weaver (Michael), Ben Prigal (Hallie), and Stephanie Prigal (Kenneth Rosenberg), son Dan and family (wife Mathann and children Bryce and Clayton), and son Rich and family (wife Nic and children Julia and Tyler).  Born in Atlantic City, she was the daughter of Dr. Barney and Mildred Barab.

Liz was a proud graduate of Penn State University where she earned an associates degree in laboratory sciences and met Marvin.  Shortly after graduation, they married and began a life together living first in Pittsburgh, then St. Louis and Rochester (NY), before settling in Montgomery Village for over 45 years.  Liz was an active member of many non-profit organizations in which she and Marv before his death, volunteered and took leadership positions: Business Network International ), Kiwanis), Miracle League of Montgomery County, and The American Cancer Society as Liz was a three-time survivor.

A family-only graveside service will be on Thursday 30 July. The family asks for donations to be made in her name to Miracle League of Montgomery County or The American Cancer Society.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
