GORDON, Sonya L.
On Wednesday, August 23, 2023, SONYA L. GORDON, of San Francisco, California and formerly of Bethesda, Maryland. Beloved wife of the late Michael S. Gordon; devoted mother of Elizabeth Gordon Jonckheer (Willem); cherished grandmother of Katherine, Anna and Natalie.
She was a native of Brooklyn, New York and attended Erasmus Hall High School. She was a proud graduate of Barnard College and Columbia Law School and worked for many years as an attorney for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Private funeral services will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023, at the Garden of Remembrance, Clarksburg, Maryland. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Pension Rights Center, Washington, DC. https://pensionrights.org/
