Green Burial Services

Green Burial Home & All Natural Services
Natural burial, sometimes called green burial, has been the traditional method of burial throughout most of human history. It is the most natural way to return to the earth; providing a way to care for the dead with dignity and honor while also minimizing the impact on the environment.
Green burial practices include natural interment of the body using biodegradable burial containers, preserving cremated remains in eco-friendly urns, and scattering remains. Green burial allows for a funeral to take place without the use of toxic and non-biodegradable materials/chemicals. Green burials will take place on restored and protected land that accommodates green burial practices, which contributes to protecting our natural areas and habitats. When choosing a green cemetery, it's important to remember that each one may have unique features and policies. Research and visits are crucial to ensure your choice aligns with your vision of a green burial.
- Understand cemetery regulations: Different cemeteries have varying regulations for green burials. Familiarize yourself with their requirements for burial containers, grave markers, and landscaping to ensure they align with your preferences.
- Evaluate burial options and services: Inquire about the cemetery's burial options, such as biodegradable caskets, shrouds, or burial pods. Ask about their use of native plants, conservation efforts, and ecological balance maintenance. Consider additional eco-friendly services like memorialization options and grave markers.
