This charge includes the transfer of remains to our funeral home from within 25 miles of our facility, basic services of funeral director and staff, refrigeration, and nonscheduled cremation fee. If you want to arrange a Direct Cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The alternative cremation container we provide is fiberboard. A complete price list will be provided at the funeral home. The crematory does not permit the use of alternative containers made of non-rigid materials or metals. All cremains will come back in a temporary container.
